- Open your phone’s messaging app.
- Type your 13-digit CNIC number (ensure there are no spaces or dashes).
- To check the Federal Package: Send the message to 9999.
- To check the Punjab Nigehban Package: Send the message to 8070.
- Wait for the automated reply. You will receive a message confirming whether you are “Eligible” or “Ineligible.”
2. Via Official Online Portals
If you have internet access, using the official portals provides more detailed information:
- Federal Package: Visit pmrrp.nitb.gov.pk. Enter your 13-digit CNIC and complete the CAPTCHA to see your status.
- Punjab Nigehban Package: Visit pser.punjab.gov.pk. You can log in or register your household details if you are not already in the system.
Important Information for All Beneficiaries
- SIM Ownership: Always send the SMS from a mobile SIM card that is registered in your own name (CNIC). Using another person’s SIM may lead to system errors.
- “Record Not Found”: If you receive this message, it means your household information is missing or outdated in the national registry (NSER). To resolve this, visit your nearest BISP Tehsil Office to complete a “Dynamic Survey.”
- Security & Fraud Warning:
- Registration is 100% Free: No government department will ever charge you a “processing fee” or “registration fee.” Anyone asking for money is a scammer.
- Official Channels Only: Only trust information from websites ending in .gov.pk and official SMS codes 9999, 8070, or 8171.
- Never Share PINs: Never provide your bank PIN, OTP, or personal account details to anyone over the phone or via social media.
- Collection: If found eligible, you will be notified via SMS about when and where to collect your aid. Disbursements are usually handled through biometric (thumbprint) verification at authorized banks or designated government distribution centers.
